BRENTWOOD, CALIF. — Jeanne Scott Morin Glaeser lost a brief battle with cancer on June 1. She was born Oct. 19, 1934, in San Jose, Calif., the daughter of Lucile and Leroy "Scotty" Scott. Jeanne was a resident of Brentwood, Calif., and a former resident of San Jose, Calif. She graduated from Santa Clara High School in 1952 and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1959, she married Maurice Morin in San Jose, Calif. They divorced. She was employed by various companies including Lamplighter Reality, Summit Industrial Equipment, and Memorex.
Survivors include husband Helmut Glaeser; children Leslie (Brian) Foley of Gilroy, Calif.; Linda (Leonard "Len") Moeder of Beaver; Carol Underwood of San Jose, Calif.; Patrick (Kris) Morin of Roseville, Calif.; and Kate (Dale) Lettenberger of Santa Fe, N.M.; her brother Jerry (Judy) Scott of Penn Valley, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 6, at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, San Jose, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne’s memory to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
