Jeannette M. Amador 1953-2018

GREAT BEND — Jeannette M. Amador, 65, passed away Oct. 15, 2018, at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood. 

She was born August 26, 1953, to Douglas and Jean (Boardman) Ferguson. She married Ralph Amador May 5, 2012, at Ahlo, Oregon. He survives.

Coming from Ahlo, Oregon, Jeannette has lived in Great Bend for the past year. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a self-employed janitor. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and being with her family.

Survivors include, husband, Ralph of the home; six sons, Paul Amador, John Amador, Robert Amador and wife Joan, and Murel Amador, all of Great Bend; Michael Amador and Andrew Amador, both of Portland, Oregon; three daughters, Sierra French and husband Jason, Chico, Calif.; Stella Ochs and husband Michael. Great Bend; and Amber Robinson and husband Jason, Portland, Ore.; three brothers; a sister, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 20 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses in Great Bend, with Michael Espinosa presiding. 

Memorials are suggested to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
