John Paul Delgado    1986 — 2011

EMPORIA — John Paul Delgado, 24, died June 1 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born June 14, 1986 in Great Bend, the son of Ruby Gray Byerly. A resident of Emporia since 2007, coming from Great Bend, he worked for Norfold Iron and Metal.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Byerly, Emporia; a son, Justice Alexander Delgado, Ellinwood; a sister, Kimberly Byerly, Wichita; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gray, St. John.
A memorial service is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Terry West officiating. Burial will be at the Springdale Cemetery in Chase. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
