LARNED — Johnathan Lee “John” Hopkins, 20, died Aug. 2 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned.
He was born Sept. 29, 1990 in Hoisington, the son of Clarence Aumiller and Michelle Hopkins.
He earned his GED in 2009 from Barton Community College. A lifelong resident of Pawnee County, he was employed for the past two years as an applicator at Golden Valley Co-op in Rozel.
Survivors include his father, Clarence Aumiller, and his companion, Mary Nations, Hope; his mother, Michelle Hopkins and his stepfather, Chance Noble, Larned; two brothers, Christopher Noble and Calvin Noble, Larned; two stepsisters, Danielle Smith, and Dusty Harris, Hope; paternal grandparents, Lynn and Shirley Aumiller, Great Bend; and maternal grandparents, Maurice and Irene Hopkins, Larned.
A prayer service is scheduled at 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Assembly of God Church in Larned with the Rev. Ryan Webster officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at the LaCrosse City Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the church, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m.; and from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Monday, at the Assembly of God Church.
Memorials are suggested to the Pawnee Valley Humane Society in Larned.
