BRUSH, Colo. — Julia Bernadine Davis, 96, died Aug. 28, 2013 in Brush, Colo.
Born Dec. 15, 1916, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Elsie (Sloan) Goodman.
On Sept. 4, 1935, she married Lloyd Milton Davis in Great Bend. He died in April 2006. She was a secretary and bookkeeper. She was a baptized at Baker Avenue Baptist Church and was later a member of First United Methodist Church, Great Bend.  After moving to Colorado, she became a member of Akron Baptist Church, Akron, Colo.  
Mrs. Davis was a member of Akron First Baptist Church, Rebekah Assembly of Kansas, Grand Ladies Encampment of Kansas, Department Association Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant of Kansas.
Survivors include a son, Wayne and his wife Carolyn, Akron, Colo.; a daughter, Karen Neighbors, Great Bend; 11 grandchildren, Brenda, Mark, Jeff, Brad, Scott, Caleb, Brian, Kent, Laryssa, Arthur Dean, and Jana; 21 great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Great Bend Cemetery with the Reverend William F. Johnson officiating.
