Julia K. Cordre, 57, passed away November 30, 2020, at her home in Great Bend. She was born April 26, 1963, at Hutchinson, to Lewis & Dennie (Short) DeWitt. She married Neil Cordre on November 10, 1984, at Great Bend. He survives.
A Great Bend resident, Julia was a homemaker. She enjoyed the New York Giants, Chicago Cubs and Wichita State University sporting events. Julia liked riding motorcycles and traveling. She enjoyed her friends and family, but especially loved spending time with her children.
Survivors include, her husband Neil Cordre of the home; two sons, Jeremy Cordre of Wichita, and Ryan Cordre of Great Bend; her mother, Dennie DeWitt of Great Bend; a brother, Darin DeWitt and significant other Christy Huslig of Great Bend; and a sister, Lindsey Ensley and husband Scott of Great Bend. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis DeWitt; and a sister, Jane Skolout.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Sabian Chaney presiding. Masks and social distancing are required. A public livestream of the service will be under Julia’s obituary at www.bryantfh.net. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials have been designated to Barton County Relay for Life, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
