HOLYROOD — Kenneth E. Horyna, 77, passed away Feb. 4, 2018 at his home in Holyrood. 
He was born March 7, 1940 in Great Bend the son of Edward and Marie (Krmela) Horyna. Kenneth attended school in Pawnee Rock graduating with the class of 1958.
Kenneth was a member of the Vintage Chevy Club of America, the Eagles in Great Bend. He attended car shows and loved to show the cars he restored. Kenneth also loved to watch NASCAR and professional wrestling. 
Survivors include his sons Dennis Horyna and wife Carla of Iowa, Gene Horyna of Hutchinson and Matt Horyna and wife Lisa of Olathe; brother Edwin Horyna of Lyons; sisters Rose Cosper of Irving, Texas, Carol Huffman of Great Bend, Betty Hafenstine of La Crosse, Connie Allen of McPherson and Lois Cox of South Hutchinson; grandchildren Lia Denise Herrera, Andi Anderson, James Horyna, Allyssa Horyna, Kiefer Horyna and Anna Stapleton; and ten great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Clarence and Donald; sisters Sylvia Horyna and Evelene Knox.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday Feb. 8, 2018 at the Trinity Cemetery in Hudson with Rev. Larry Schumacher officiating. Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 7, 2018 with family present to greet friends 6-8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
