MCPHERSON — Keri Susan Lindholm, 54, of McPherson, Kan., entered into her eternal heavenly home on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, surrounded by family at her home in McPherson. Keri worked as a Speech Language Pathologist where she had her own private practice prior to working for USD 418.   

Keri was born on Jan. 13, 1965, in Hoisington, Kan., the daughter of Kenneth Martin and Helen Marie (Zorn) Hickey. She graduated from Hoisington High School (in 1983), Fort Hays State University, and Wichita State University. Keri was united in marriage to Greg S. Lindholm on Aug. 4, 1990, in Great Bend, Kan. This union was blessed with two children, Aden and Anna. 

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Speech Language Hearing Association. She also enjoyed her Bunco girls group. 

Survivors include her loving husband, Greg of the home; son, Aden (Asha) Lindholm of Emporia, Kan.; daughter, Anna (Kerrick) van Asselt of Sherwood, Ore.; mother, Helen Holliday of Inman, Kan.; siblings, Kent (Ulai) Hickey of Las Vegas, Nev., Kim (Kevin) Regehr of Inman, Kan., Kurt (Elena) Hickey of New Caney, Texas, and Kraig (Brandi) Hickey of Louisburg, Kan.; step-mother, Lois Hickey of Inman, Kan.; two step-brothers, Phil (Kim) Schwerdtfeger of Denton, Texas and Ryan (Katie) French of Wichita, Kan.; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 4, in McPherson Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at First United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be given to the McPherson County Community Foundation (for an arts scholarship in Keri’s name) in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
