MANASSAS, Va. — Kim Pivonka of Manassas, Va. passed away on Oct. 26, 2021. Kim was born on Jan. 24, 1956 and the daughter of Pauline (Polly) and Paul O. Bare. Kim grew up in Vienna, Va. and graduated from James Madison High School.

She shared 40 years of marriage with her husband John Pivonka of Manassas, Va., and was mother to three loving children, Sam, Jana, and James, all living in the northern Virginia area. She was grandmother to two grandchildren, Hannah and Chloe. She is also survived by two brothers, Larry Joe Bare of Martinsburg, W.V., and Scott Bare of Wilmington, N.C.

A memorial service to celebrate her life is being held on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, Va.
