EATON RAPIDS, Mich. — Kirk Stuart Clone passed away suddenly in his home on Dec. 7, 2016, from many heart complications. He was born Aug. 29, 1962, in Jackson, Michigan. He grew up in Vista, Calif., Manhattan, Kan., and Great Bend, returning to Eaton Rapids in 1980.
Kirk loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed kayaking and being outdoors. He loved nothing more than sitting by a fire with friends and family drinking beer and sharing great stories. He will be missed mostly for his great sense of humor and cracking himself up.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Gaylord J Clone; significant other, Donna Stoken; sister-in-law Jodi Clone; nephew, Kerry Clone; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his mother, Eunice Clone of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; brother, Kevin Clone of Ponca City, Okla.; sisters, Kathy (Mike Siebert) Clone of Hungry Horse, Mont., and Kara (James) Barnhart of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; two sons, Jon (Deana) Stoken of Muskegon, Mich., and Kurtis (Jessica) Clone of Venice, Italy; two daughters, Jesse Stoken and Kellie (Duane) McNally, both of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; six granddaughters, Kylee, Haiden, Melody, Maggie, Hailee, and Kennedy; three grandsons, Daetin, Isiah, and Mason; love of his life, Shannon Parish; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
