Kristina Lea Halfacre, 46, passed away on Feb. 18, 2020, at her home in Great Bend. She was born on June 9, 1973, at Grand Rapids, Mich. to Ronald and Shirley (Ondersma) Vanderband. 

Coming from Michigan just two weeks ago, Kristina resided in Great Bend currently. She was a caretaker and loved crosswords. 

Survivors include, two sons, Jonathan Vegter of Grant, Mich. and Micah Halfacre of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two daughters, Andrea Jenkins and husband David of Great Bend, and Samantha Vegter of Mich.; her father, Ronald Vanderband of Mich.; her mother, Shirley Ondersma of Mich.; two brothers, Rick Vanderforest of Batavia, Ill., and Ronald Vanderband Jr. of Aurora, Ill.; a sister, Sheryl Vanderband of Jenison, Mich.; and a granddaughter, Sofia Vegter. 

There will be no visitation or services at this time as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Kristina Halfacre Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
