ELLINWOOD — LaDonna Marie Hatcher, 80, died Jan. 30 at Country Living in Ellinwood. She was born Jan. 19, 1933, at Florence, the daughter of Willis Lange and Marie Seibel. On July 7, 1957, she married John R. Hatcher at Ellinwood. A longtime Ellinwood resident, she was a bookkeeper at P.S.B. until retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and American Legion Auxiliary, and of Grove Park Golf Club, all of Ellinwood, and a former member of the Ellinwood Library Board.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Tracy (Ray) Rome, Ellinwood, and Jan (Richard) Petz, Denver, Colo.; a sister, Deloris Parks, Neosho, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew Rome. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stillborn son, Greg; two brothers, Bernard and Daryl (Billy); and a granddaughter, Elise Petz.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Emmanuel UCC in Ellinwood with the Rev. Kasey Crosby. Burial will be in Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood. Calling time will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 6-8, at Kimple Funeral Home. Memorial donations to Ellinwood Public School & Library Foundation or the church may be made in care of the funeral home.
