Larry Allan Fradd, 74, passed away after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s on Sept. 4, 2023, at Medicalodges, Great Bend, Kan. He was born on April 22, 1949, in Great Bend, Kan., to Kenneth and Cleone (Wesley) Fradd.
Spending the past few years in Great Bend, after spending time in Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Salina, Larry was a manager/owner of a John Deere dealership. He graduated from Great Bend High School, Class of 1968, then served his country as a sergeant in the Air ForceSecurity Service during the Vietnam Conflict. After return from service, he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fort Hays State University. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing is his younger years.
Survivors include a daughter, Corry Kelly (Justin) of Great Bend, Kan.; two grandchildren, Raelynn and Kimber Rowe; four step-grandchildren, Hayden, Brooklyn, Baylie, and Harper Kelly; a brother, Gary Fradd of Nevada; a sister, Kristy McComb of Texas; and a co-parent, Maribeth Benker of Great Bend. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth “Sonny” Fradd, Jr.; and sister, Judy Sargent.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to sign the register book at Bryant Funeral Home during business hours prior to service, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Great Bend Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding. Military Honors will be presented by the McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard. Memorials have been designated to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
