WICHITA — Larry Dean Berry, Sr., 65, entered eternal life Nov. 12, 2011.
Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was united in marriage to Maxine Leiker on Feb 21, 1966 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Ransom. His hobbies included pheasant hunting, fishing and drawing.
Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Maxine Berry, Wichita; three sons Dennis Berry, Larry Dean (Brenda Sue) Berry, Jr., both of Great Bend, and Dwight Berry, Cimarron; four grandchildren, Makenna Rae Berry, Jack Garrick Berry, Emily Madison Berry and Brianna Nicole Cook; and three brothers Ralph (Carol) Berry, Modesto, Calif., Carl (Catherine) Berry, Exeter, Mo., and Owen Berry, Sapulpa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Berry, Sr. and Lois Wilma (Jones) Berry; two brothers, George Washington Berry, Jr. and Bill Berry; a sister, Dorothy McPherson; and his daughter and grandson, Dolores Ann Cook and Conner Dean Cook, both on July 24, 2009.
A rosary is scheduled at 7 p.m. Tuesday and a funeral mass is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, both at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Fairlawn Cemetery in Hutchinson.
