LARNED – Linda O. Zielke, 66, passed away July 23, 2015, at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. She was born Nov. 4, 1948, in Greene, New York, the daughter of Leonard and Thelma Pierce Oles. A longtime area resident, she was a homemaker.
She was of the Christian faith.
On May 24, 1985, she married Eldon Hays in Ness City. He passed away April 1, 2014. On Aug. 2, 2014, she married Harry Zielke in Rapid City, South Dakota. He survives.
Other survivors include a brother, Thomas (Gwen) Oles, Leesburg, Va.; three stepsons, Dallas Hays, Larned, Thomas Hays, Phoenix, Ariz., and Chris (Paula) Zielke, Rapid City, S.D.; three stepdaughters, Marilyn Montainge, Hawaii, Laura Clarkson, San Francisco, Calif., and Amanda Zielke, Rapid City, S.D.; seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Dr. David Hales presiding. Inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorials may be given to the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Foundation or the Gentiva Hospice in care of the mortuary. Condolences may be left at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
