CHASE — Linda R. Gilmore, 68, of Chase, died Nov. 17, 2011 at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington.
She was born Dec. 1, 1942, at Seminole, Okla., the daughter of Gordon M. and Thelma G. Hall Woodard.
She graduated from Russell High School and attended Fort Hays State University. She married Robert R. Gilmore in Glendale, Ariz. April 16, 2004.
She was a resident of Chase since 1975 and worked as a nurse’s aid, waitress and sales clerk. She attended First Street Church of God, Hoisington; and is a former member of the Rainbow Girls, Russell; and a former member of the C.B. Club.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of the home; sons, Ross Tuey, Great Bend; Christopher Kelso, Wellington; Joseph Kelso, Great Bend; Ricky Ray, Chase; daughters, Teresa Wilson, Great Bend; Dyanna Wilson, Hoisington; Darlene S. Case, Great Bend; Tammy Haltom, Great Bend; a stepdaughter, Roxanne Beems, St. Joseph, Mo.; a brother, Charles Gordon Woodard, Hutchinson; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Alexander Tuey, Karly Tuey and Andrea Siefers.
A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville.
Visitiation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21 at the Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Linda Gilmore expense fund in care of the funeral home.
