LARNED — Lloyd Elmer Woodard, 78, passed away Dec. 2, 2021 at Diversicare of Larned.
He was born Jan. 27, 1943 in Great Bend, Kan., the son of Milton Glenn and Velda Jo Akin Woodard. A Larned area resident, he was of the Christian faith. After serving four years in the United States Navy, he worked as an airline manager.
Survivors include sister, Wadonna (Leonard) King, Larned; seven nephews, Scott (Nancy) King, Victoria, Minn., Chuck (Pam) Woodard, Bridgeport, Texas, Randy (Carol) Woodard, San Angelo, Texas, Craig (Nancy) Woodard, Bridgeport, Texas, Kevin (Sharon) Woodard, Azle, Texas, Mark (Debbie) Woodard, Mont.. Vernon, Wash., Mike Woodard, Milton, Fla.; a niece, Marsha Woodard, Schertz, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob Woodard and Bill Woodard.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 at the Larned Cemetery, Larned, with Bob Sallee presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Memorials may be given to Tunnel2Towers in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Box 477 Larned, KS 67550.
