HOISINGTON — Lois Ilene Hoffman, 85, died Feb. 28 at Santa Fe Nursing Home in Weatherford, Texas. She was born July 11, 1925 in Norton. She was the daughter of Lovell Dodd and Pansy (Montgomery) Clinton. On Aug. 15, 1945 she married George W. Hoffman in Hoisington. He died June 1, 1986. A former longtime resident of Hoisington, she was a retired nurses aid working at Clara Barton hospital for over 30 years.

Survivors include son, Darel Hoffman and wife Yvonne of Crowley, Texas; a daughter, Judy Schugart and husband Garland of Weatherford, Texas; a sister, Althea Parks of Chanute; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Clinton.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the Hoisington Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Friends may visit from 8:30 until service time on Friday. Memorials are suggested to the Clara Barton Hospital or Mission Hospice in Cleburne, Texas, all in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.nicholsonrickefh.net.
