LARNED — Lores Jeane Debes, 74, died June 1, at the Cox Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
She was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Bunker Hill, the daughter of Siegmund and Katherine Herdt Steinert. She married Bernard J. Debes on Nov. 12, 1971 at Great Bend.
Mrs. Debes was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Springfield, Mo. and a former longtime member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned.
Survivors include two sons, Brad Weaver and wife Susan, Springfield, Mo.; and Rod Weaver and wife Russchell, Jefferson City, Mo.; a daughter, Kay Serrins, Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Marvin Steinert, Hays; five grandchildren, Jason Weaver, Megan Weaver, Thomas Weaver, Hayley Gray and John Weaver; two step-grandchildren, Gabe Trowbridge and Brett Trowbridge; and one great-grandson, Anthony Patrick Gray. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Steinert.
A funeral mass is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Springfield, Mo. A vigil service is scheduled at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel in Larned. A funeral mass is also scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned with Father Robert Schremmer and Father Bernard Felix presiding. Inurnment will be at the Larned Cemetery.
