ELLINWOOD — Lowell (Mike) Smith, 85, passed away at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, KS on Jan. 22nd, 2018. Born on Nov. 11, 1931 in Raymond, KS to Francis and Hilda (Rose) Smith, he was a lifetime Raymond area resident where he worked as a farmer and rancher and was known to be an avid outdoorsman who always greeted you with a smile. Memberships include St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ellinwood, 20+ years in the NRA, Rice County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited (founding member), and Raymond’s Fast Pitch Softball team.
