French, Luanne Joy (Lebsack, Scheuerman), 94, passed quietly July 2, 2023. She was born on March 20, 1929 to William P. and Marie (Hergert) Lebsack in Otis, Kan. She was the Wichita West High librarian from 1966 to 1989. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, LaVon Scheuerman. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Leonard French, Great Bend, Kan.; daughter, Christine (John) Hawkins, Wichita, Kan.; sister, Arlene Rolfs, Geneseo, Kan. and her family; grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Kerr, Derby, Kan. and Sam (Ann) Hawkins, Shawnee, Kan.; great grandchildren, Braxton Kerr, Kyler Kerr, Westin Kerr, Andrew Hawkins and Josie Hawkins; and Leonard’s sons, Mike (Patty)French, Jeff French and Kelly French. 

Interment will take place in Great Bend, Kan. at a later date.
