GREAT BEND — Mabel Emilie Ankerholz, 93, died July 6, 2011 at the Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born January 12, 1918 at Barton County, the daughter of Fred H. and Elma W. (Schuster) Jurgensen.
She married Herman William Ankerholz April 19, 1946 at Hutchinson. He died October 18, 1980.
She worked for Dar-Style Cleaners. Mrs. Ankerholz was a lifetime Great Bend resident. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a brother, Roy Lee Jurgensen, Great Bend; and six nieces and nephews
A graveside service is scheduled at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Great Bend with Officiant The Reverend James A. Strasen. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Great Bend.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, July 8 at the Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the  Trinity Lutheran Church or Cedar Park Place, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
