LYONS — Manuel Catherino Navarro, 86, of Lyons, passed away Aug. 18, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. 

Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons, with Father Patrick Kotrba officiating. Burial will be at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Lyons. A parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Due to the coronavirus, seating at the church will be limited, and also masks will be required as social distancing will be practiced. 

For those that are unavailable to attend, the family has suggested offering a donation in Manuel’s honor of canned food or dried goods for the Rice County Food Bank. Donations may be left in the baskets of the entry way of the church or at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. The service will be live on St. Paul Catholic Church’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
