RAYTOWN, Mo. — Marcia C. McIntyre, 71, passed away Aug. 3rd. After years of moving around with the Air Force, she and her husband settled in Raytown, Mo., where she eventually retired from DST Systems. She moved to Dayton in January of 2012. She was a 1959 graduate of Great Bend High School.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa (Steven) Wolcott of Oakwood, Ohio, and Melinda (Terry) Walk of Sedalia, Mo.; grandchildren, Stephanie (Matthew) Karbinas of Sedalia, Mo., Shannon Walk of California, Mo., Christopher Wolcott, Zachary Wolcott, Mackenzie Wolcott and Nicholas Wolcott, all of Oakwood, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Audrie Pritchard, Landon Walk, and Zaden Walk, all of California, Mo., and Cameron Karbinas of Sedalia, Mo.; brothers, Randall Brann of Great Bend, Bradley Brann of Kansas City, Mo., Stewart Brann of Tuxedo, N.Y., and Douglas (Ann) Brann of Shawnee; niece, Sarah Brann of Lenexa; nephews, Dustin Brann of Carmel, Ind., James Brann and Jeffrey Brann, both of Shawnee; and cherished friends, Dorren McMahon and Kevin Denny of Dublin Ireland, and Ron Najman of
Tuxedo, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max L. Mcintyre; and parents, Dorothy N. (Hickman) and Hilton L. Brann.
Burial will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetary, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30. A “Celebration of Life” Open House will then be held from 5 to 7 p.m in the Community Room at REAP, 9300 E. 75th Street, Raytown, Mo.
