Margaret Agnes White, 87, passed away on Feb. 1, 2020, at Medicalodges of Great Bend. She was born on June 18, 1932, at Odin to Joseph and Agnes (Debes) Wondra. She married Robert A. White on Sept. 18, 1951 at Odin, Kan. He died on July 30, 2010.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Margaret loved to garden.
Survivors include her children, Ronnie White of Marion, Va., Larry White and wife Danette of Damascus, Md., Karen Irick and husband Mike of Brownsville, Tenn., Patsy White and husband Bill Troyer of Eugene, Ore., James White and wife Midori of Seattle, Wash., Greg White of Fayetteville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four siblings, Rita Legleiter, Art Wondra, Jerry Wondra, and Jeanie Hapes. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Marilyn; two brothers, Robert Wondra and Al Wondra; and three sisters, Mary Ann Collins, Cecilia Schneweis and Sister Edith “Catherine” Wondra.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Great Bend, with Father Louis Trung Dinh Hoang presiding. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. Memorials are suggested to Prince of Peace Parish or American Cancer Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
