BEELER — Margaret Helen Brenner, 85, passed away on Oct. 2, 2015, at Cedar Village Long Term Care in Ness City. Born on Oct. 13, 1929, near Redwing, she was the daughter of Julius and Mathilda Boor Klug. On Feb. 25, 1957, she married Ben Brenner in Odin. They lived north of Bazine for 17 years and lived on the Triple Bar Ranch near Beeler for 40 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Brenner was a member of St. Theresa’s Altar Society in Dighton.
Survivors include her husband Ben of Ness City; five sons, Ronald Brenner, Darrell (Barbara) Brenner, and Randall (Kathy) Brenner, all of Ness City, Gary (Marya) Brenner, of Beeler, and Douglas Brenner of Oakley; three daughters, Rhonda (Glenn) Stramel, of Munjor, Carolyn (Claude) Durler, and Diane (Cedric) Drewes, both of Dodge City; two brothers, Leon (Lois) Klug, of Hoisington, and James Klug, of Odin; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alois “Lou” Klug; sister, Eleanor Reif, and infant grandson, Brian Stramel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Church in Ness City. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in McCracken. Memorial contributions may be given to TMP – Marian High School in Hays, Sacred Heart School in Ness City, or Cedar Village Long Term Care in Ness City.
