Marguerite Stricker, 87, of Great Bend, died Thursday at Cherry Village Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 10, 1923 in rural aArgonia, the daughter of Ray and Gertrude(Brown) Medlam.

Mrs. Stricker was a life long resident of Kansas. She Ggaduated from Argonia High School in 1940. She married Everett Stricker Sept. 17, 1952 in Lyons.

Survivors Include husband, Everett Stricker of Great Bend; five daughters, Susan Stricker and Brenda (Will) Bendure all of Great Bend; Patty Vavricek of Atlantic, Iowa, Cindy (Jerry) Herrman of Liebenthal, and Kathryn (Kevin) Jonas of Hoisington; one sisters, Betty Medlam of Anthony; six grandchildren, Brandon (Teri) Vavricek, Christin Vavrice, Traci (Craig) Brenden, Jesse (Katie) Herrma, Shane Jonas, Derek Jonas; and one great-grandchild Madisen Brenden.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters

The funeral service will be: Monday at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ with Chuck Marshall officiating. Visitation will be today from 6- 8 p.m. at Charter Funerals.
