OLIVIA, Minn. — Marian F. Miller passed away at home on April 30, 2017, in Olivia, Minn. Born Aug. 13, 1930, near Bison, she was the daughter of John and Frances Tuzicka. She attended a country school. She was married to Ralph McNemee and to this union had four children, divorcing later on. Marian lived in Albert, working at Farmers State Bank. Later she married Eilt Miller and a few years after he died Marian moved to Olivia, Minn. She loved to spend time with her family doing special things for them such as cooking meals and baking. Making bierocks was one of her specialties. She was well known for her cookies and pies. She loved polka and country western music, fishing, word find books, old game shows and talking about when she was a kid.
Survivors include her three children, Carol Olson and Wayne of Olivia, Minn., Karen Lambert and Paul of Olivia, Minn., and Mark McNemee of Desoto; five grandchildren, Robin and Sam Olson, Jeremy Fyler and Steven Dawdy, Christopher Fyler, and Brandon Fyler and Megan; her great-grandchildren, Baylie, Hunter, Colton, Ayden, Braxton, Cameron, and Dexter Fyler; and her sisters Delores Vsetecka and Alice (and Gene) Urban. She was preceded in death by her son Bob; her parents John and Frances; her husband Eilt; her brother Clarence and his wife Doris; and her brother-in-law Vic. Blessed be her memory, she will be missed by all.
A celebration of life for Marian will be held at a later date in Kansas.
