KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mark Wayne Garner, 71, passed away peacefully in Kansas City, Mo., at the VA hospital surrounded by his daughter, son-in-law, and cousin on March 3, 2017.
He was born in Great Bend on May 21, 1945, the son of James and Ponzetta Garner.
He was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters. Survivors include one brother, Carl Garner, one son, Marquis Garner, and two daughters, Kimberly Garner Daniels and Lori Garner.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
