Marlene Worley 1933-2015

OWASSO, Okla. — Marlene Worley passed away May 18, 2015.
Born Jan. 9, 1933, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of William J. and Alvena Mary (Koehn) Mull. She lived most of her life in Great Bend and Wichita until moving to Owasso, Okla. in 1997. Marlene attended Fort Hays State College. She was a homemaker, and also worked as a secretary for many years in Wichita. Marlene had a passion for fashion and enjoyed shopping, music and playing video slot machines. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. ·
Survivors include her three children, Kim Benzel and her husband, Robert, Kelly Hornbaker and his wife, Sandy, and Ky Hornbaker and his wife, Jill; six grandchildren, Nicole Amend, Chad Hornbaker, Chesli Hornbaker, Zeke Hornbaker, Kyal Hornbaker and Elyse Hornbaker; and one great-grandson, Caleb Amend.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther Worley; her parents; and her sister, Marian Weathers
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Reynolds Chapel in Collinsville, Okla. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter.
