WAKITA, OKLA. — Marvin O. Conrady, 85, passed away Oct. 4, at Enid, Okla.  Born Jan. 19, 1929 on the homestead in Grant County, Oklahoma, he was the son of Otto Anthony and Jenny (Kletcka) Conrady.
Marvin enlisted in the United States Air Force on Dec. 14, 1950, one day before he received a draft letter. He served his country as an Airman First Class during the Korean War until his honorable discharge on Dec. 13, 1954.  On Sept. 29, 1952, Marvin married Loretta Jane Wood at Manchester, Okla. He was a farmer and a stockman.
Survivors include his children: Diana Solorio, Wakita, Okla.; Debbie (Jim) Jackson, Anthony; Randy (Bonnie), Great Bend; Raymond (Kathy), Wakita, Okla. and Rodney Conrady, Wakita, Okla.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Jenny Conrady; wife, Loretta; daughter, Denise; granddaughter, Allison; brothers, Bill and Herman; son-in-law, James Mark Solorio.  
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church, Wakita, Okla., with Father Carl Janocha officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Medford, Okla.  Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony, KS. Memorials are suggested to the to the church or Calvary Cemetery.
