Marvin Ernest Selle, 69, died on November 24, 2021, at Harry Hynes Inpatient Unit, Wichita, Kansas. He was born on March 2, 1952 at Great Bend, Kansas to Eugene & Lois (Fischer) Selle. He married Donna-Marie Werle on June 3, 1973.

A lifetime resident of Great Bend, he worked for South Bend Township as a Heavy Equipment Operator until his retirement in 2016. His life’s passions were fishing and hunting. 

Survivors include Donna-Marie Selle, of the home; mother, Lois Selle of Great Bend, Kansas; sons, Anthony (Breea) Selle of Commerce City, Colorado, Chris (Cathy) Selle of Great Bend, Kansas, Mitchell Selle of Great Bend, Kansas; daughter, April Trantham of Great Bend, Kansas; brothers: Allen (Marilyn) Selle of Great Bend, Kansas, Dwight (Carol) Selle of Great Bend, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Sara, Levi, Caeden, Astin, Emeric, Ryker, Savanna, Skylar, Kaitlyn. He is preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family receiving from 5 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home with Reverend Dick Ogle presiding. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to the Marvin Selle Expense Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
