HAYS — Mary A. Moore, 81, of Hays died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays.

Mary was born January 3, 1930, in Hays to Edmund A. and Elizabeth (Rupp) Dreiling. She married Harvey E. Moore on May 12, 1947, at Hays. He died April 1, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, both of Hays.

Survivors include her son, Harvey A. Moore and his wife, Diane, Great Bend; daughter, Paula J. VanWinkel and her husband, Kenneth, St. John; brothers, Wilmer Dreiling, Ellis; and Robert Dreiling, Aladin, Wyo.; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Moore in 1987, a sister, Norma Jean Steckline. and her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays. There will be a Daughters of Isabella rosary at 5:30 p.m. and a parish vigil service at 6 p.m. Friday at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
