WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Mary Alaine O’Neill/Boyd passed away on Aug. 22, 2018 at Sunrise of Westminster Senior Living Center after a battling Alzheimer’s for nearly 10 years. 

She was born in Missouri on Oct. 21, 1947 and adopted by David and Berneta O’Neill of Great Bend, Kan. Mary graduated from St. Mary of the Plains Academy and The Modern School of Hair Fashion in Wichita, Kan. She worked at Sid’s Hair Dressers and Linda’s Beauty Salon in Great Bend before moving to Westminster, Colo. where she worked for COBE Laboratories for 35 years. 

Mary also volunteered at animal shelters and loved reading, knitting, animals, dancing, Christmas and her birthday.

Survivors include her brother David O’Neill; son Ryan Boyd; daughters, Michelle Patterson and Stephanie Boyd; granddaughters, Caity Nemec, Madi Tabangay and Hannah Boyd; grandsons, Dillon Belmudez and Drew Patterson.

She will be reunited with her parents in Great Bend, Kan., whom she absolutely cherished for picking her.
