Mary Lynne Garnett, 54, of Great Bend, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Feb. 24, 1961, in Wichita, the daughter of Lawrence “Gus” and Donna (Kellogg) Davis. She was an LPN at Larned State Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Steven Garnett, Hutchinson; mother, Donna Davis, Haysville; two sisters, Rachel (Robert) Prine, and Marsha Cavender, both of Wichita; nieces and nephews, Alex Prine, Waco, Texas, David Prine, Wichita, Miranda Newman, Park City, and Jeremy Cavender, Wichita; and two great-nephews, Jared and Jayden Newman, Park City. She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents, Bert and Mabel Davis and Myron and Julia Kellogg.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at Hillside Funeral Home in Wichita. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with The ARC of Sedgwick County “Yes Program.”
