Mason David Roach, 28, passed away Oct. 19, 2022, in rural Russell County, Kan. He was born Feb. 9, 1994, to Rick Rathbun and Lisa Roach.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mason was a batchman for Concrete Services. He was a Lego fanatic, enjoyed playing his music loud and strumming his guitar. He loved spending time with his family but especially fond of spending time with his precious daughter, Emberlynn.
Survivors include, his mother, Lisa Anderson of Great Bend; his fianceé, Emily DeLaurentis and daughter, Emberlynn Roach of the home; a brother, Garrett Rathbun and wife Maggie of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Allison Mietler and Jeff of Great Bend and Ashley Fronterhouse of Amarillo, Texas; his bonus dad of many years, Rick Anderson of Abilene; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Rathbun.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Don Fisher presiding. Memorials have been designated to the Mason Roach Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
