WICHITA — Maurice ‘Mo’ Doonan, 79, resident of Wichita, Kan., passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, after a brief illness. Mo was born on March 2, 1946 in Great Bend, Kan., the son of Wendell and Wanda (Kennedy) Doonan. 

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite western wear and cowboy boots in honor of Mo.
