HUTCHINSON — Maxine F. "Mickey" Proesch, 91, died Aug. 4, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 20, 1919, at Hutchinson, to Jacob and Mae Frederick. She married Melvin Proesch on Sept. 21, 1941. He died Aug. 3, 1987.

Mrs. Proesch was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Great Bend.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol (Doug) Smiley of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Kathy (Jerry) Hendershot of Hutchinson; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mennonite Manor Chapel, South Hutchinson, with Chaplain Todd Schlosser officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
