Mitchell Layne Wright    1958 - 2014

WICHITA — Mitchell Layne Wright, 55, died April 16, at his home in Wichita. Born Nov. 24, 1958, in Great Bend, he was the son of Terry and Alpha (Delker) Wright. Mitch attended Great Bend Public Schools. He worked as an oil rig roughneck and as a truck driver.

Survivors include his daughter Molly Wright-Skeen of Hays; his mother, Alpha Honaker of Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Leslie LeRoy and husband David of Great Bend, Julie Bruns and husband Dean of McPherson, Lori Wise and husband Terry of Fort Collins, Colo., and Terry Shank and husband Jon of Larned; seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandparents and his father.
