HUDSON — Myrl Eddingfield Munz, 91, died April 7, 2017, at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born Aug. 1, 1925, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Carl David and Mary Pearl (Williams) Eddingfield. In 1943 she graduated from Great Bend High School. On Dec. 24, 1954, she married Martin Paul Munz. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick (Mark Kahabka) of Wichita and Michael of Hudson; a brother Carl (Sylvia) Eddingfield of Great Bend; a sister-in-law Rosa Ramsey of Lindsborg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Jean (Eddingfield) McIntosh; and one cousin (raised by her parents) Howard Williams.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ellinwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stafford County Historical Society or Immanuel United Church of Christ, in care of Minnis Chapel.
