Nancy D. Farmer, 83, a resident of Hoisington, Kansas, passed away at her home on May 14, 2021, after a year-long fight against Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
She was a resident of Barton County for most of her life and graduate of Hoisington High School Class of 1955.
Her survivors include; her husband, James W. Farmer; children, Anna (Farmer) Belford and spouse, Randy Belford, Janie (Farmer) Bass and spouse, Joe Bass, Brenda (Farmer) Donetz, J.D. Farmer and spouse Rose Farmer, and Jeri (Farmer) Miller; 17 grandchildren and too many great-grandchildren to count…..she was blessed!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Waldo D. Brinson and Anna Harriet (Baugh) Brinson; younger sister, LouAnn Fitzpatrick; and younger brother, Loren Gene Brinson.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, 415 N Main, Hoisington, Kansas. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
