Natha Gay Julian, 80, died June 14, 2017, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. She was born March 2, 1937, at Great Bend, the daughter of Clarence Thomas and Lillie Anna (Meyer) White. She married Manford Wayne “Sonny” Julian on July 6, 1954, at Tucumcari, N.M. He died Jan. 4, 2007. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mrs. Julian was a homemaker.
She was a member of VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with family.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Julian and his wife Susan of Blanchard, Okla., and Curtis Julian of Great Bend; two daughters, Shelli Price and her husband Terry of Great Bend, and Debra Birzer of Lyons; one sister, Norma Lee Kinzel and her husband Lawrence of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren, Brooke Stowe, Michael Gliem, Sarah Kendall, Megan Johns, Carry Treat and Jessie Julian; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ayvis Julian; one sister, Wilda Mae Merten; and one grandson, Brad Julian.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Bryant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Reuben Langat officiating. Inurnment will be in Great Bend Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials have been established with Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
