Norma Natalie Ruble, 85, died April 6, 2016 at her home in Great Bend. She was born Feb. 18, 1931 at Las Cruces, New Mexico, the daughter of Harry O. and Billie Ruth (Kirtley) Noll and granddaughter of William and Pearl (Charles) Kirtley.
She married Dean Ruble March 18, 1953 at Hutchinson. He died December 20, 1976.
She was a cashier for Sears & Roebuck, Rosencrantz-Bemis and Pay Day IGA.
Mrs. Ruble was a Great Bend resident since 1954.
Survivors include one daughter Kim L. Hekele and husband Mike of Odin; seven grandchildren, Jason Hekele, Jacob Hekele, Caleb Hekele, Jeff Ruble, Tim Ruble, Spencer Ruble and Micaela Ruble-Tesch.
She was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Kirtley “Kirt” Ruble.
Memorial service will be at 7 p.m., Monday, April 11, at Bryant Funeral Home with Father Ted Stoecklein officiating. Mrs. Ruble has donated her body to the University of Kansas Medical Center for medical research. Memorials are requested to Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
