Norman “Pete” Kramer, 67, passed away Oct. 19, 2022, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, Kan. He was born Nov. 25, 1954, at Oakland, Calif. to Bernard and Norma (Bowman) Kramer. He married Jean A. Scheer Aug. 14, 1976 at Garden City.
Coming from Garden City in 2015, Pete was a current Great Bend resident. He was a machinist for Simmons Pump & Machinery. Pete was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed collecting coins and hot wheels, and hunting and fishing. He was an avid football and baseball fan. Pete especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include, his wife, Jean Kramer of the home; a son, Nathan Kramer and wife Barbara of Garden City; two daughters, Anna Kramer and Stacey Kramer (Milton Barnes) both of Garden City; a daughter in law, Radonda Kramer of Great Bend; a sister, Carol Tieben and husband Daryl of Dodge City; and 15 grandchildren, Alyssia Garcia Kramer (David), Jayden Kramer, Janica Kramer, Anastacia Kramer, Michael Kramer, Julianna Kramer, Matthew Kramer, Mia Vera, Isaac Owens, Jaylene Campos, Brysen Owens, Destiny Kramer, Alexander Kramer, Maddison Kramer and Gabriel Kramer. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Bryan Kramer and Adam Kramer; and a brother, Mark Kramer.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Archie Moody presiding. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, Kan. at 2 p.m. Memorials have been designated to the Norman “Pete” Kramer Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
