Pamela Jean Shuey, 66, passed away July 2, 2021, at Hays Medical Center. She was born Feb. 6, 1955, at Great Bend, to Roger Dean and Marion Jean (Fulkerson) Shuey. 

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Pamela was a homemaker. She was a member of VFW Post #3111. Pamela enjoyed fishing, swimming and singing but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

Survivors include, a son, Adam Schridde of Wetumpka, Ala.; a daughter, Monica Zahn and companion Shawn Kaiser of Great Bend; four brothers, Rick Shuey of Tioga, N.D., Ronnie Shuey and wife Beverly of Great Bend, Roger Shuey and companion Leslie Hanson of Sunset Beach, N.C., and Joe Shuey and wife Darla of Manhatten; and five grandchildren, Sean, Brady, Miette, Andy and Catherine. She was preceded in death by parents; a brother, Bill Shuey; and a sister-in-law, Connie Shuey. 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to the Pamela Shuey Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
