HUTCHINSON — Pat Chiater Lightfoot, 71, died July 2, 2012 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 29, 1940 in Rivesville, W. Va., she was the daughter of John and Dorothy (Haught) Chiater.
On Jan. 23, 1983 she married Marion F. Lightfoot in Fairmont, W.V. A resident of Great Bend since 1989, coming from Buffalo, N.Y., she was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband, Marion F. Lightfoot, of the home; two sons, Kip McGinnis and his wife Becky, Rivesville, W.V. and Jeff McGinnis and his wife Kim, Baxter, W. Va.; a daughter, Tami McGinnis, Paris, France; a stepson, Keith Lightfoot, Fort Collins, Colo.; two step-daughters, Lisa Vetter and husband Randy, Arkansas City; and Marya Bosley, Augusta; three sisters, Shirley Russ, Fairmont, W. Va., Jeanie Morris, Baxter, W. Va., and Frances Longfellow, Monongah, W.V.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, James Chiater.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. William F. Johnson officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
