JETMORE — Patricia Anne Young, 84, passed away Aug. 30, 2017, at the Hodgeman County Long-Term Care Center, Jetmore. She was born July 21, 1933, in Plainville, the daughter of Frank and Marie Bieker Wells. She raised her family in Otis, later moving to Jetmore. She was a former employee of La Crosse Furniture.
On Aug. 4, 1958, in Salida, Colo., she married Altha A. (John) Young. He passed away Aug. 10, 1988.
She was of the Christian faith. She loved cooking and sewing and was a Girl Scout Leader, a Den Mother for Boy Scouts, a 4-H leader, a member of the United Methodist Women, an Extension Homemaker member and a member of the Otis-Bison Booster Club.

Survivors Include two sons, Dr. Terrell (Christine) Young, Provo, Utah, and John (Janet) Young, Grand Junction, Colo.; five daughters, Janet (Terry) Coats, Fairmont, Okla., Lisa (Bennett) Moeder, Otis, Stacey (Danny) Briggs, Jetmore, Jennifer (Robert) Glynn, Great Bend, and Lori (Harland) Werth, La Crosse; two sisters, Shirley Eilers, Plainville, and Linda (Kenny) Lyle, Natoma; and 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Jerry Wells, one sister, Glenadine Waggoner, and one granddaughter, Danielle Briggs.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Sept. 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Pastor Cyd Stein presiding. Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be at the Otis Methodist Cemetery following the service at 2 p.m.
