PRESCOTT, ARIZ. — Paul J. Grace, 95, formerly of Great Bend, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 25, at home in Prescott, Ariz. Born May 12, 1921, in Selden, he was the son of Thomas and Mary (Geisinger) Grace.
Survivors include two brothers, Dennis and Leo (Lee); two sons, Tim, Prescott, Ariz., and John, Iowa City, Iowa; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Flora (Flo); daughter, Patricia; parents; and three brothers, Cletus, Robert and John.
Paul served his country first as part of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and later with the Army’s 1st Division, 18th Infantry during WWII. After the war, his life-long career in carpentry and construction began, and he last worked for the C.V. Cale construction company in Great Bend.
Graveside services and interment for Paul and Flo will be at 1pm CT, at the Selden Cemetery in Selden, on Saturday, June 3, 2016.
