Paul J. Heueisen 1930 - 2014

Paul J. Heueisen, 84, former longtime Great Bend resident, passed away on Sept. 19, at Protection Valley Manor in Protection. Born on May 23, 1930, in Lancaster, Calif., he was the son of Louis Steven and Margaret Mary (Murray) Heueisen.  In 1936, he moved to Great Bend with his family, and graduated from Great Bend High School in 1945. He worked as a custodian for various businesses in the Great Bend area. He enjoyed reading.
Mr. Heueisen was a longtime member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include a cousin, Mary Conley of Lomita, Calif. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of Prince of Peace Parish in Great Bend, with Father Don Bedore officiating.
