Pauline Wagner, 90, died Nov. 9, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Born Dec. 27, 1923, in Ellis, she was the daughter of Joe and Agatha (Gaschler) Weber. She married Gilbert Aloysius Orth Sr. He later died. On Sept. 13, 1968, she married Daylon John Wagner in Cheyenne Wells, Colo. He died on March 26, 1994. A Great Bend resident since 1969, coming from Hays, she was a beautician.
Mrs. Wagner was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society, in Great Bend.
Survivors include one son, Gilbert A. Orth of Aurora, Colo.; one step-son, Rick Wagner of Great Bend; and three sisters, Ella Dechant of Hays, Betty Godfrey of Pittsburg, and Janet Gagnon of Fairfax, Va. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Weber and Ralph Weber; and two sisters, Florence Johnson and Rose Massier.
Altar Society Rosary will be held at 4 p.m. and Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m., today, both at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Prince of Peace Parish, in care of the funeral home.
